The course audit policy is as follows:
- An auditor must pay full tuition, cannot take examinations, and does not receive credit for the course
- Audited courses are not eligible for financial aid
- After registration closes, courses cannot be changed to or from an audit status
- Audited courses do not count toward degree requirements at IIT
- Audited courses follow the same deadlines as regular courses—refer to the Academic Calendar
Students who wish to audit a course need to register for the course and then submit the Course Audit Request Form to the Office of the Registrar during the current semester's registration period:
